In short

Founded in 1928, our father, Edmond Duclaux, did most to develop the vineyard.
Today, we cultivate the 5.8 hectares of vines on the Tupin-et-Semons hillsides by hand.

Our aim is to produce elegant Côte-Rôtie wines that typify the southern stretches of the Côte-Rôtie appellation (planted on gneiss bedrock).
Only two vintages are produced:
La Germine is the vineyard's main wine. It is a perfect example of a southern Côte-Rôtie.
The Maison Rouge is comes from a single parcel and is the estate's flagship wine. It is the pride of the vineyard.
